Tip

Text formatted using a style sheet can be locally formatted at any time using the keyboard, the Measurements palette, or the Style menu. If you insert the cursor in or highlight locally styled text, a plus sign will appear on the Style Sheets palette next to the name of the style sheet that is associated with that paragraph. You'll also see a plus sign before a paragraph style sheet name if your cursor is inserted in text to which a character style sheet has been applied.
