Libraries

A library is a special kind of file that is used to organize and store repetitively used items, such as empty boxes, boxes with text or picture contents, lines, text paths, or groups. Each library is displayed as a floating palette. You can drag an entry from a floating library palette into any open QuarkXPress document window. An unlimited number of libraries can be created.

Quick-Append From A Library

When an item with a color applied to it is retrieved from a library, the color is appended to the color palette of the active file. Ditto for text with a style sheet applied—the style sheet is appended to the active file (unless its name matches that of an existing style sheet).
