To insert tabs into text:

1.
Choose the Content tool.

2.
Press Tab as you input copy before typing each new column. The cursor will jump to the next default tab stop. Don't keep pressing the Tab key to move the type over. If you're not happy with the location of the default stops (I rarely am), you can set custom stops (next page).

or

To add a tab to already inputted text, click to the left of the text that is to start each new column and press Tab.

or

Press Shift-Tab to set a right indent tab flush with the right indent of the box .(You won't see a marker on the Tabs ruler for this kind of tab.)
