To edit a CMYK color:

1.
Choose Edit menu > Colors (Shift-F12), then double-click the name of the color you want to edit (or click the color name, then click Edit) .

or

Ctrl-click a color on the Colors palette, then click Edit.

2.
Adjust any of the Cyan, Magenta, Yellow or Black percentages .

3.
Click OK.

4.
Click Save. The color will update immediately in any item to which it has already been applied.

Tip

To create a rich black, you can add some magenta (M) or cyan (C) to your black (K). Ask your commercial printer for advice.
