To flip a box:

1.
Optional: To create a mirror image, duplicate the box (Ctrl-D) before you flip it.

Choose the Item or Content tool.

3.
Click on the item, and turn off Item menu > Edit > Shape (F10).

So you'll be able to restore the original dimensions to the box after it's flipped, on the Measurements palette, high-light the W or H field, depending on which way you want to flip the box—horizontally (W field) or vertically (H field)—and copy the current value (Ctrl-C).

If you copied the W field, drag a side midpoint handle all the way across the item to the other side . Drag the top or bottom midpoint handle if the H field was copied.

6.
Re-highlight the field that was chosen for step 3 above, paste (Ctrl-V), then press Enter .

Tip

To flip the contents of a selected box, Choose Style menu > Flip or click the right-pointing or upward-pointing arrow on the Measurements palette .
