To resize a whole Bézier box, line, or text path:

1.
Choose the Item or Content tool.

2.
Make sure Item menu > Edit > Shape is turned off (F10).

3.
Click on the Bézier box, line, or text path .

4.
To resize the item proportionally, but not its contents, if any (picture or text), Alt-Shift-drag one of the handles of its bounding box .

or

To resize the item and its contents (if any) proportionally, Ctrl-Alt-Shift-drag a handle .

or

To resize the item proportionally, but not its contents, enter a new number in the W and/or H field on the Measurements palette . Or use the Ctrl-M shortcut to open the Modify dialog box (or right-click and choose Modify), click the Box folder tab, then enter numbers in the Width and/or Height fields.

Tip

If you resize a Bézier shape, unless it's part of a group, the width of any applied frame won't change. Use the Item menu > Frame dialog box to adjust the frame width, if desired. If you resize a group containing a Bézier with Ctrl, Alt, and Shift held down, the frame width will adjust accordingly.
