Chapter 13. Printing > “Job Finished”

“Job Finished”

As I said way back at the beginning of the book, don't give up until you get it to work. If you run into difficulty, there is almost always a workaround. Working through to that solution almost always teaches a valuable lesson (as Grandma used to say, “It builds character.”). However, remember that the solution is sometimes to just print the job in pieces and strip them together traditionally. It feels awful when you have to clean off your drafting table and dust off your waxer, but efficiency is often the name of the game.

And when the last page comes out of the imagesetter, don't forget to thank your computer, QuarkXPress, the service bureau, and yourself for a job well done.
