Chapter 9. Pictures

Chapter 9. Pictures

I've been talking a lot about text and rudimentary graphic elements such as arrows and ovals, but let's not forget that ultimately, QuarkXPress is designed to integrate not only text and lines, but also graphics from other programs, and it contains many powerful features to aid in this task. QuarkXPress handles line art and images such as four-color photographs with a degree of power and set of features previously only attainable by using several programs in conjunction.

In this chapter, I'll cover almost everything you can do with pictures other than running text around them (which I cover in Chapter 11, Where Text Meets Graphics).
