Importing HTML

QuarkXPress not only exports HTML codes to disk, but it can also import HTML into a text box. You must have the HTML Text Import XTension active in order to do this (which it should be, unless someone turned it off in the XTensions Manager dialog box).

Importing an HTML file works exactly the same as importing a Microsoft Word document: you select a text box with the Content tool and then choose Get Text from the File menu. Note that if you're using QuarkXPress for Windows and the HTML file has a .html file name extension (instead of .htm), you will probably have to select Display All Files from the File of Type popup menu (in the Get Text dialog box).
