Blending Colors

You can call them fountains, dégradés, gradations, or blends, but the concept is always the same: the background of a text or picture box can make a gradual transition from one color to another (see Figure 12-8). Unlike other programs that create graduated fills, in XPress you can blend any combination of spot colors and process colors (even white).
