Forms

Viewers use forms on a Web page to enter information, check options, or make choices from a list. Then they click a Submit button to send the data to the Web server for processing. Forms for data collection can be used to order products, request documents, perform searches on a Web site, or send user information to a Web site. The HTML language supports form tags that can be used on a Web page. The Web browser reads the form tags and creates the field, box, or button. A form box is the container that holds text fields, buttons, etc.
