Pages keep coming back

If, when you delete document pages from a print document, Auto Page Insertion is on (Edit > Preferences > Preferences > Document– General), the master page has an intact (not broken) chain icon (which means an automatic text box is present), and the text in a linked chain doesn't fit completely on the pages that remain, new pages will be added automatically to accommodate the overflow text. If this makes you feel like the sorcerer's apprentice, turn Auto Page Insertion off—the overflow symbol will appear, and no new pages will be added. In both scenarios, the overflow text is preserved.
