Chapter 13. Style Sheets > Using Find/Change to apply or change style sheets

Using Find/Change to apply or change style sheets

To apply a style sheet to locally styled text using the Find/Change palette, uncheck Ignore Attributes, choose character attributes on the Find What side of the palette, and choose the desired Style Sheet on the Change To side of the palette.

You can use Find/Change to selectively find and change style sheets on a paragraph-by-paragraph basis by choosing a Find What Style Sheet and a Change To Style Sheet (as opposed to deleting/replacing a style, which causes all occurrences of the style sheet to change). This strategy makes phenomenal sense if you stop to think about it. See pages 272–276.
