Chapter 9. Pictures > To import a picture:

To import a picture:

1.
Choose the Item or Content tool, then click a picture box.

or

Choose the Content tool, then click a box in a group or a picture cell in a table .

Figure 1. Click a picture box. Note: If the box already contains a picture, the picture you import will replace the existing one.

Choose File > Get Picture (Cmd-E/Ctrl-E). Or Right-click/Control-click the box or cell, then choose Get Picture from the context menu.

Optional: Check Preview to display a thumbnail of the picture (the picture has to have been saved with a preview).

4.
Click a picture file name (and , next page) then click Open, or just double-click the file name .

Figure 3. Ctrl-click/Right-click and choose Fit Box to Picture to make the box fit the picture, or drag the picture using the Content (hand) tool.
