To move a picture box manually:

1.
Choose the Item tool or hold down Cmd/Ctrl if the Content tool is currently chosen.

2.
With the pointer inside the picture box, drag in any direction. Pause before dragging to display the picture as it's moved (if Live Refresh is chosen in Edit > Preferences > Preferences > Application–Interactive, the four-headed arrow cursor will change into a cluster of arrows) . Or drag without pausing to display only the outline of the box as it's moved .

TIP

You can drag a picture box or any other item from one page to another. As you drag, you can knock into the edge of the document window to force scrolling to help you reach the desired page.
