Chapter 20. Libraries

Chapter 20. Libraries

A library is a special kind of file that is used to organize and store any item—a box, with or without text or a picture, a line, a text path, a table, or a group of items. Each library is displayed as a floating palette , and can contain up to 2,000 items. When you drag an item from a floating library palette into any Quark XPress document window, a copy of the item appears in the document. An unlimited number of libraries can be created.
