Chapter 15. Color > To apply a blend to a box or table cell:

To apply a blend to a box or table cell:

1.
Choose the Item tool, then click a text box, picture box, group, or multiple-item selection. Or choose the Content tool, then click a table cell (or Shift-click multiple cells).

On the Colors palette (F12), click the Background icon . (If the item has a Background of None, click a color first.)

3.
Choose Linear, Mid-Linear, Rectangular, Diamond, Circular, or Full Circular from the fill-type pop-up menu .

Click the #1 button, then choose a color and a shade percentage .

Click the #2 button, then choose a color and a shade percentage (, this page and , next page). You can choose different percentages of the same spot color as the #1 and #2 colors. One of the colors can be white or 0% of a spot color.

Optional: Change the angle (-360°– 360° in an increment as small as .001°).
