To recolor table border segments and/or gridlines using submenus:

1.
Choose the Content tool.

2.
Click a gridline or border segment, then Shift-click additional gridlines or segments, if desired . You can select both horizontals and verticals. The outer border has four segments. (If you have trouble selecting individual gridlines or segments, use one of the commands described next, then deselect the ones you don't want to recolor.)

Control-click/Right-click the table and choose Gridlines > Select Horizontal, Select Vertical, Select Borders [the outer frame segments of the table], or Select All [all the gridlines and borders] .

Choose from the Style menu (or Control-click/Right-click the table) > Color and Shade submenus.

Click the Line icon on the Colors palette, then click a swatch .
