Sorting and Grouping a Report

The Report Wizard gives you options for sorting the report records as well as grouping the records based on the values in one or more fields. If you need to fine-tune the sorting and grouping options set up through the wizard, or if you're building your report from scratch, you can specify the report's sorting and grouping from the Design view, as explained in the next few sections.
