Creating a PivotChart Report

A PivotChart is a efficient mechanism for summarizing and analyzing complex data. Unfortunately, the Access reporting engine doesn't have a PivotChart view for reports. However, it's still possible to include a PivotChart as part of a report. The secret is the subreport control, which, as you learned in the previous section, can display an existing report as a subreport. However, the subreport control can also display an existing form as a subreport. And, as you learned in Chapter 11, “Creating Specialized Forms,” Access forms do have a PivotChart view.
