Using Operators in Criteria Expressions

Access has a few dozen operators you can include in your expressions. The four types of operators—comparison, logical, arithmetic, and miscellaneous—are covered in the next few sections.

Comparison Operators

You use comparison operators to compare field values to a literal, a function result, or to a value in another field. Table 2.1 lists Access's comparison operators.
