Changing Colors

Choosing appropriate colors for your form or report is an important formatting decision. For example, colors on forms can be used to assist users in correctly filling them out. Also, if you have a color printer available, you can significantly enhance the appearance of a report or form by adding color to lines or text. Other elements you can add color to include rectangles, backgrounds, headers, footers, or detail areas of a report or form.

Change Line or Border Color

Display the form or report in Design view, or for a field border, in Form or Report view.

Select the line or border whose color you want to change.

Click the Line/Border Color button list arrow on the Formatting toolbar, and then select the color you want. You can also select Transparent to make the border around a colored object disappear.
