Using a Wizard to Help Design Your Form

You have discovered that Access wizards can be your friends. They effortlessly guide you through otherwise difficult procedures while saving you a great deal of time and effort. That doesn’t mean that wizards are always the best way to go. But it does mean that it is a good idea to become familiar with wizards to fully utilize the functionality of your database.

The bottom line is that wizards can save you time creating forms, especially if they are relational forms. For example, a wizard can take care of the housekeeping involved in setting up a relational form, such as automatically placing the subform in the main form and automatically placing the chosen fields in the proper place. In addition, you can choose an aesthetically pleasing form style from a list of set formats.
