About the Author

Roger Jennings is a principal of OakLeaf Systems, a northern California consulting firm specializing in Windows client/server database and digital video applications. Roger is the author of Que Publishing's Using Access 2 for Windows, Special Edition; Special Edition Using Access 95; Special Edition Using Access 97; Unveiling Windows 95; Access Hot Tips; and Discover Windows 3.1 Multimedia. He was a contributing author for Que's Killer Windows Utilities; Using Windows 3.11, Special Edition; Special Edition Using Windows 95; and Excel Professional Techniques. He has also written two books for Windows database developers, is the series editor for a set of books on database technology, and has contributed to the Microsoft Developer Network CD-ROM and Microsoft Developer Network News.

Roger was a member of the beta test team for Microsoft Windows 3.1 and 95; Windows NT 3.1, 3.5, 3.51, and 4.0 (Workstation and Server); Exchange Server; SQL Server 6.0 and 6.5; Proxy Server (code-named Catapult); ActiveMovie; Media Server (code-named Cougar) and every release of Access and Visual Basic. Roger is also a contributing editor for Fawcette Technical Publication, Inc.'s Visual Basic Programmer's Journal.
