Sorting, Filtering, and Retrieving Data 201 7. 8. Click the Remove Filter button on the toolbar to display the complete set of records again. On the Records menu, click Filter, Filter By Form. In the Filter By Form window, shown here, notice that the criteria for the filter applied to the table in step 6 (records for which ExpenseType does not equal Advertising) appears. If you closed the datasheet now and clicked Yes to save the table's design, this filter would be saved with the table and you could apply it the next time you opened the table. The filter is saved in the Filter property for the table. (We'll describe saving filters in more detail later in this section.)
