Chapter 12. Access and the Web > Creating a Data Access Page with the Page Wiza... - Pg. 421

Access and the Web 1. 2. In the Database window, click Pages in the Objects list, and then click New. In the New Data Access Page dialog box, shown here, select Page Wizard: 421 3. 4. As you can when you use a wizard to create a form or report, you can select a query or table in this dialog box to serve as the record source for a data access page. If you don't select a source for the data access page in this step, you'll need to select one in the Page Wizard. Select qryTasks from the list at the bottom of the dialog box, and then click OK. In the wizard's first screen, move the fields in the query from the Available Fields list to the Selected Fields list, and then click Next. In the screen shown here, you designate which fields you want to use for grouping records displayed by the data access page. Groups in data access pages are similar to groups in a report. You can group records by more than one field, adjust the hierarchy of the groups, and set grouping options in this screen.
