Chapter 24. The Finishing Touches > Disabling Form Design View

Disabling Form Design View

You might have noticed as you built new forms in your Access 2003 databases that Access sets the new Allow Design Changes property to All Views by default. This is a handy feature while you build forms because it allows you to change any form or control property directly from Form view and see the results immediately. Figure 24-18 shows you one of the sample forms from the ContactsDataCopy.mdb database opened in Form view. You can see that Access shows you the Form Design toolbars and menus and lets you open the property sheet to make changes.
