Chapter 11. Reports > Creating Reports

Creating Reports

Reports can be based on tables, views, SELECT queries, or stored procedures. If you are using a wizard to create a new report, you can select only tables or views as data sources in Microsoft Access 2000. Reports based on a stored procedure can be created in Design view, because that is the only place where you can select a stored procedure as the Record Source.

In Microsoft Access 2002, you can also use wizards to select a stored procedure as the Record Source.
