Chapter 15. ADO Events

When ADO Connection and Recordset objects are working, they both send out events you can capture. If you use the WithEvents supplement to declare the respective objects, you can capture and process the events in your programs.

You can use event procedures to handle the events initiated by Connection and Recordset objects. This is similar to working with forms and reports, where your actions, such as mouse clicks or keyboard entries, initiate events that are handled by event procedures; for example, Form_Load, Control_Click, and so forth.
