The Properties Dialog Box

Clicking Properties displays the Properties dialog box. In Access 2000 this dialog box includes three tabs, whereas up to seven tabs are provided in this dialog box in Access 2002. You can use the options in these tabs to determine settings for tables, indexes, relationships, and so on. The Properties dialog box was presented in Chapter 5, “Tables in Access Projects.”

The Properties dialog box, shown in Figure 6-5 for Access 2002, displays information about the object currently selected in the database diagram. When the Properties dialog box is open, you can select an object, for example a table or relationship line, to view and modify its properties.
