Chapter 12. Connection Objects >  Connection Objects in Access Projects

Connection Objects in Access Projects

In Access projects, you usually work with the project’s Connection object. A project is connected to a database server and a database (use the File, Connection command in the Data Link Properties dialog box to select the database and the database server). The CurrentProject object contains basic data about the current project.

CurrentProject is an Access object, not an ADO object. With respect to ADO programming, the object has two useful properties: Connection and BaseConnectionString.
