Sorting Recordsets

Two different procedures are available for sorting recordsets: sorting with an ORDER BY clause in the SQL query or sorting with the Sort property. In the first case, the system transfers the sorted data from the database to the recordset; in the second case, the system only sorts the data in the recordset. The second scenario can be useful with a client-based cursor, because it requires no server or network resources.

You can use the same syntax that you use for ORDER BY for the Sort property as well. For example:
