Batch Processing

ADO gives you the option to edit records in batches. This involves saving the changes locally on the client first, and then transferring them to the database as a block. Note that batch operations work only if your recordset’s CursorLocation is set to adUseClient.

To open a recordset for batch processing, you must enter the value adLockBatchOptimistic as the constant for the LockType parameter. You can use the method to write the change you made to the recordset records to the database. Use CancelBatch to cancel the changes.
