Queries with Parameters

Parameters are used when a stored procedure is called to transfer values for the parameters assigned to that procedure. You can also use parameters to recall queries with varying values.

For a query with parameters, you must create a Command object and set the parameters. The Command object has a Parameters collection in which the individual parameters are described. Table 14-4 and Table 14-5 list the properties and method, respectively, for a Parameter object.
