Relationships to Aliased Tables

So far, you've seen how to create relationships among tables in a single database file. However, there's more to FileMaker now: You can create relationships to tables in other database files as well as multiple relationships to tables in your own file. This section shows you how to do this.

If you used FileMaker before version 7, you are familiar with relationships between various files. With no tables within database files, every relationship involved multiple files (with the exception of self-joins, the topic of the following section).
