Setting Up a Data Source on Mac OS X

The process of setting up a data source on Mac OS X is comparable to the process on Windows, but its details are different. Perhaps the most important difference is that you use the drivers and administration software distributed with FileMaker rather than the operating system ODBC setup tool located in the Applications folder.

Inside the FileMaker folder you will find a folder called ODBC Import Drivers. Inside it is an installer for the drivers; run it to install the drivers.
