Using the Line Continuation Character

Access Basic code, used in Access 2.0, didn't have a line continuation character. Therefore, you had to scroll a lot, as well as pull out a bag of tricks to simulate continuing a line of code. With VBA, Access 97 and higher solve this problem—the line continuation character is an underscore. Figure 7.10 illustrates the use of this character.
