Special Access Project Form Properties and Techniques

Access project forms have properties that are not available within MDB forms. These properties all help you to optimize your application for the client/server environment. Furthermore, there are techniques that you can employ with an ADP that are not available with an MDB. This section covers these properties and techniques.

Options for the RecordSource

Access project forms sport a variety of choices for the RecordSource property. You can select a table, view, stored procedure, or Transact-SQL statement as the record source of an Access project form. Creating a form based on a stored procedure is not an intuitive process. The steps are as follows:
