Summary

Replication is a very complex and robust Access feature. You can use it at the most basic level to synchronize changes between two databases or, in an enterprise-wide application, to synchronize changes between many machines on a wide area network (WAN). The easiest but least robust way to implement replication is to use the Access user interface. However, with the Replication Manager, you can schedule and manage synchronization activity as well as handle the most complex of replication topologies. Finally, by using code, you can customize the behavior of your application's synchronization activities.
