IN THIS CHAPTER

ActiveX controls (called OLE controls before Access 97) provide a way for you to present users with advanced, yet standard, interfaces, including applications developed in different languages such as Access and FoxPro. When using ActiveX controls, these languages provide containers in which the separate ActiveX server applications (OCXs) can run.
