Sending Data to an FTP or HTTP Server

Sometimes you need to import, link to, or export a database object to or from an FTP or HTTP server. FTP—File Transfer Protocol—is a protocol that allows you to transfer files over the Internet without a network server connection. HTTP—HyperText Transfer Protocol—is a behind-the-scenes Internet protocol that lets a client machine view documents written in HTML over the Internet.
