Instant Web Publishing

Most of the same requirements we mentioned in Chapter 13 for FileMaker applications on the Internet apply for Web browsing as well. At the very least, you must have a full-time, high-speed connection to the Internet with a fixed IP address.

Consider how many users will access the database once it is published on the Web. The standard FileMaker version only allows access to ten different computers (defined by their IP addresses) in any 12-hour period. If you limit access to just a few people, the standard version is all you need.
