Saving a Report as a Word Document

One nice thing about Access is that it's part of the Microsoft Office 2000 family of programs. You can export your tables to spreadsheets and save your reports as Microsoft Word documents. Once in Word you can do things with your documents that would be tougher if they were still in Access, such as include all or part of a report in another Word document.

To save a report as a Word document:

1.
Open your report in Print Preview mode.

Click the Office Links drop-down menu button and choose Publish It With MS Word (Figure 6.26).

Access saves a copy of your document as a Word file.
