Creating a Mail Merge with Word

As you learned in Chapter 6, Access can create mailing labels based on the records in a table.

What Access can't do very easily by itself is use those records to create a mailing based on your contact file. When combined with Microsoft Word, however, Access is the perfect tool for creating mass mailings quickly and easily. Access shares its data with Word…it doesn't export it. It's more like a link so that Word can use the data from an Access table or query.
