Filtering with Forms

Access makes it easy to search for data in your tables and determine if certain values repeat in a table or appear in a related table. Another handy skill is filtering, or limiting the data Access displays from a table. Filtering by form is a simple way to do just that.

When you filter a table or query by form, you can enter values for one, some, or all of the fields in your table or query. You can also use wildcards (discussed in Chapter 4) to expand the number of records caught in your filter.
