Using Object Linking and Embedding

Although Access can create rudimentary graphics for your forms, reports, and pages, it has none of the power and flexibility of the dedicated graphics programs. It gets around its limitations, however, with Object Linking and Embedding (OLE). OLE-compliant applications can share data by linking to another object or embedding an object from one program in another program.
