In business writing, clichés can take several forms:

Compound constructions: at that point in time rather than then; in the event that vs. if; subsequent to for after.

Redundant pairs: if and when; each and every; ready and willing.

Redundant modifiers: official e-mail from headquarters; seriously destroying our earth.
