Chapter 3. Addressing Your E-Mail Messag... > Sending E-Mail to Individual Recipie...

Sending E-Mail to Individual Recipients

There are two ways to address messages to individual recipients:

Write the recipient’s e-mail address on the address line every time you send a message. This is an easy method if you rarely e-mail the recipient, but inefficient when you repeatedly communicate with someone, unless your e-mail software is equipped with a memory feature that suggests frequently used addresses based on the first character(s) you type.

Use an electronic address book. Almost all e-mail packages allow users to create an address book with the names and e-mail addresses of people frequently contacted. Simply select a name from your electronic address book and your software does the addressing work for you.
