Formatting the Plan

Every plan, no matter its type, has a title page and a Table of Contents page. The amount of information on these pages varies depending upon what you need to say about your company and the contents of the plan itself. Your plan should also include graphics and the type and formatting of these should be considered in each part of your plan.

Another part of a typical business plan format is the disclaimers and supporting documents. Your plan may or may not include these elements, depending upon the type of plan you are writing, whether you're looking for investments, and how much supporting documentation is needed to support your business concept.
