Chapter 7. Style > Use correct grammar

Use correct grammar

Using correct grammar is not as simple as it sounds. In speaking, people often use grammar incorrectly, and because incorrect grammar is so prevalent, you might not always know what is right and wrong. Nevertheless, you should verify that your sentences are grammatically correct. Making grammatical errors in your information lessens your credibility and the credibility of your company.

Incorrect grammar is not only confusing for English speakers, but it can also make the translator's job more difficult. A pronoun that is used incorrectly or a dangling modifier can produce translated information that is inaccurate or nonsensical.
